This call allows businesses to expand the payment options available to a payer, facilitating future transactions by storing necessary payment details securely. See the [Payer ID guide](/payer-id). ### Body (application/json) This endpoint expects a PaymentMethodRequest. - `PaymentMethodRequest` ## Response ### 201 Stored payment method added successfully. - `paymentMethodToken` (string, optional) — Token representing the payment method. - `type` (string, optional) — Type of the payment method. - `identifier` (string, optional) — Identifier for the payment method (e.g., last 4 digits). - `lastUsed` (datetime, optional) — Timestamp of the last successful transaction. - `createdAt` (datetime, optional) — Timestamp when the payment method was added. - `cardBrand` (string, optional) — Brand of the card (e.g., Visa, MasterCard). - `lastFourDigits` (string, optional) — Last four digits of the card number. - `mobileNumber` (string, optional) — Masked mobile number (e.g., '*** **** 5678'). - `bankName` (string, optional) — Name of the bank. - `accountIdentifier` (string, optional) — Masked account number (e.g., '**** **** 1234'). ## Errors ### 400 Bad Request Error Invalid request parameters. - `message` (string, required) — Human-readable description of what went wrong. - `error` (string, required) — Error category, typically the HTTP reason phrase (e.g. "Bad Request", "Unauthorized", "Conflict", "Unprocessable Entity", "Internal Server Error"). - `statusCode` (integer, required) — HTTP status code, mirroring the response header.
