# Get quote

GET https://api.crisscross.money/v1/toc/quotes/{quoteId}

Retrieves a quote. Expired, unaccepted quotes are deleted from the system after a time and return `404`.
Accepted quotes are retained indefinitely alongside their order.

TOC quote details.

- `quoteId` (string, required)
- `status` (enum, required)
  - Allowed values: `active`, `accepted`, `expired`
- `sellCurrency` (string, required)
- `buyCurrency` (string, required)
- `sellAmount` (string, required) — ZAR amount the client sells at the specified rate.
- `buyAmount` (string, required) — Amount in `buyCurrency` the client receives.
- `rate` (string, required) — Amount of buy currency received per unit of sell currency. `1 sellCurrency = <rate> buyCurrency`.
- `fee` (string, required) — Total fee in ZAR.
- `totalDebitAmount` (string, required) — Total ZAR debit. `sellAmount + fee`.
- `createdAt` (datetime, required)
- `expiresAt` (datetime, required) — Quote is `active` strictly before this time, `expired` thereafter and cannot be accepted.
- `orderId` (string, optional, nullable) — The order booked from this quote. Populated once the quote is accepted; `null` while still active.

## Errors

### 401 Unauthorized Error

Unauthorized — missing or invalid token.

## Types

### ErrorEnvelopeError

- `code` (string, required) — Stable machine-readable identifier. Branch on this, not `message`. Common values: `INVALID_REQUEST`, `UNAUTHENTICATED`, `FORBIDDEN`, `RATE_NOT_AVAILABLE`, `RATE_NOT_FOUND`, `CURRENCY_NOT_SUPPORTED`, `CURRENCY_NOT_PROVISIONED`, `QUOTE_NOT_FOUND`, `QUOTE_EXPIRED`, `QUOTE_NOT_EXECUTABLE`, `ORDER_NOT_FOUND`, `DEPOSIT_NOT_FOUND`, `BENEFICIARY_NOT_FOUND`, `BENEFICIARY_NOT_ACTIVE`, `CURRENCY_MISMATCH`, `INSUFFICIENT_BALANCE`, `AMOUNT_OUT_OF_RANGE`, `WITHDRAWAL_NOT_FOUND`, `WITHDRAWAL_NOT_CANCELLABLE`, `IDEMPOTENCY_CONFLICT`, `INVALID_CURSOR`.
- `message` (string, required) — Human-readable description. Do not parse.
- `details` (map from string to any, optional) — Structured context about the error. Shape varies per code.
