Cameroon supports **bank transfers** and **mobile wallets (MTN MoMo, Orange Money)**. Cameroon shares the XAF currency with the other Central African CFA markets (see [Central Africa (XAF)](/payout-market-central-africa-xaf)), but it has **additional sender requirements** that apply to every Cameroon payout, on both rails. Sending to a number on the wrong network fails at the provider. Top-level required fields for every payout: `merchantId`, `merchantReference`, `destinationValue` (with `minorAmount` and `currency`), `paymentMethodId`, `paymentLocation`, `recipient`, `sender` (see [Sender details](#sender-details-required)). ## Sender details (required) Every payout requires a `sender` object with `fullName`, `identity`, and `identityNumber` for KYT/KYC screening. Cameroon payouts additionally require the fields below on **both** bank and mobile wallet payouts. Requests missing them are rejected before any funds move. * **Operator code**: Use `mtn` for MTN MoMo and `orange` for Orange Money. No other operators are supported for `CMR`. * **Phone number format**: Provide the recipient MSISDN with the `237` country code.
